    Abstract

    This study aims to determine the teacher's role in overcoming students' learning difficulties in mathematics using the discussion method. This research resulted in: (1) the role of the teacher in overcoming students' learning difficulties in mathematics is very important. because with the teacher carrying out his role as a teacher and educator, motivator, facilitator, mentor and evaluator, the difficulties experienced by students in mathematics can be overcome properly. (2) the use of the learning method, namely the discussion method in learning mathematics.

    Abstrak :

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika menggunakan metode diskusi. Dalam penelitian ini menghasilkan: (1) peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika sangatlah penting. karena dengan guru melaksanakan perannya sebagai pengajar dan pendidik, motivator, fasilitator, pembimbing dan evaluator, maka kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika dapat diatasi dengan baik. (2) penggunaan metode pembelajaran yaitu metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran matematika.
