    Abstract

Bullying remains a significant issue affecting students' social and psychological development; therefore, engaging and interactive information service media are needed to improve students' understanding of bullying prevention. This study aims to develop a board game media entitled "Throw the Ball into the Box" in information services to enhance students' understanding of bullying prevention at SMP IT Al-Hijrah Medan. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants were 30 seventh-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments. Media and material expert validation obtained a score of 91.5%, categorized as highly valid, while teacher evaluation reached 87%, categorized as highly feasible. Students' understanding increased from 63% in the pre-test to 92% in the post-test, representing a 29% improvement. The "Throw the Ball into the Box" board game is an effective, interactive, and engaging information service medium for improving students' understanding of bullying prevention.
